Overview

Quinn is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Worker in City of Industry, California.

 

The Facilities Maintenance Worker conducts maintenance of grounds and general custodial care of the facility as assigned. A wide variety of skills are needed including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Performs housekeeping, material handling, and basic maintenance duties to assist with the efficient operation of the Facilities Department.

Wages

$18.75-$23.18

Starting wage for the Facilities Maintenance Worker will depend on experience and education. 

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities for the Facilities Maintenance Worker include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

• Performs routine inspections, basic installations, and minor facility requirements.
• Perform general building maintenance which may include light carpentry, painting, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs and ballast and repair of minor electrical devises.
• Maintain all records, such as work orders and necessary reports to ensure accurate recording of activities for code and regulatory purposes.
• Respond to facility emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety.
• Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, client and co-workers.
• Respond professionally to customer needs
• Responds to emergency calls as needed.
• Maintaining assigned equipment in proper working order by performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Operate forklift, man lifts safely.
• Basic understanding of fire sprinkler systems
• Basic landscaping repairs

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess strong technical, mechanical and problem-solving skills, possess working knowledge of computerized order systems, possess the ability to learn various software programs associated with Organization and the Facilities Department.
