Quinn Company is hiring a Technician - Fabricator in Riverside, California.
 
The Fabricator/Welder Specialist will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of manual machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. The Fabricator/Welder Specialist will also be responsible for reading blueprints and engineering drawings, setting up machines, and producing precision parts to specifications

Wages

Starting wage for the Fabricator/Welder Specialist will depend on experience and education. $32.00-$38.45 

Responsibilities

  • The Specialist - Fabricator/Welder operates and maintains a variety of manual machine tools
  • Read blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Set up machines
  • Produce precision parts to specifications
  • Troubleshoot machine problems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a manual machinist
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles and practices
  • Experience with a variety of manual machine tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
