Overview

Quinn is hiring a Heavy Rental Coordinator in City of Industry, California.

 

The Heavy Rental Coordinator rents & maintains Caterpillar products to maximize profit; effectively services the rental needs of current and prospective customers of large earthmoving and small Caterpillar line.

Wages

Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $21.06 - $26.11

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Heavy Rental Coordinator include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Rental customer service activities: take calls, answers questions, quotes rates.
  • Be familiar with configuration and application of Cat equipment in fleet
  • Assists customers choosing correct equipment size, mix, and model for application and jobsite requirements.
  • Promotes the use of Caterpillar products for all rental needs.
  • Maintains proactive / creative posture to increase rental activity and profitability.
  • Ensures accurate and timely rental transactions: agreements, invoicing, insurance verification, credit checks, payment terms, etc.
  • Coordinates with Transport to facilitate equipment to customers.
  • Coordinates / schedules Inbounds and maintenance & repairs with Service Department; monitors repair status and costs.
  • Works with Service Department to ensure equipment abuse by customers are identified and billed accordingly.
  • Updates rental transactions and related information into IRental database: signed agreements and update overdue rental contacts.
  • Reviews rental equipment check-in / check-out prior to billing.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing, and related logistics.
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding changes in the rental fleet mix and equipment needs to maximize revenue.
  • Assists outside Sales Representatives as necessary.
  • Advises management of significant competitive sales and rental activities.
  • Represents Quinn Company in a professional manner that promotes the goals and values set forth by Quinn Company and the Caterpillar organization.

Qualifications

Five years’ experience as a rental coordinator or related experience, certificate of completion or AA/AS degree from a community college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
