Overview

Quinn is hiring a Manager - Sales Operations & Merchandising.

 

The Manager will manage the Sales Operations & Merchandising Department providing strong leadership and supervision.  This includes supervising efficient sales operations areas, including: inventory control, Caterpillar support, and financial and deal merchandising. 

Wages

Salary will depend on experience and education. Pay range $81,000 - $115,000

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities for the Manager - Sales Operations & Merchandising include the following. Other duties may be assisgned

 

  • Grow machine market share through growth plans constructed between Quinn and Caterpillar.
  • Lead efforts on machine inventory: forecasting, placing orders, and ensuring inverntory turns meet goals.
  • Support sales and marketing Team to co-develop machine sales strategy.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers and salesman on execution of buisness.
  • Develop strong relationships with Quinn and Caterpillar team members.
  • Deploy machine sales rep scorecards, initiatives and key metrics.
  • Harness competetive intellgence for usage to grow market share.
  • Achieve sales and marketing operational excellence by leveraging company resources and external buisness partners.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to motivate,develop and retain a high performing work group.
  • Travel and make regular visits to branch locations and customers.
  • Demonstrate and promote Quinn Company core values of Intergrity, Teamwork, Respect, Relationships, Quality and Service.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Proficient use of Quinn, Caterpillar, Caterpillar Financial, and allied product procedures and systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside lenders beyon CAT Finance.
  • Communicate with proper individuals to clarify instructions or discuss scope of progress of a sale.
  • Lead company sales training and development efforts for the Machine buisness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • New Customer Contribution & Marketing Run Rate.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Sales Marketing Development department as assigned. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration or related field; five to ten years of hands-on experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
