The Sales Representative - Key Accounts Manager's purpose is to target and grow strategic rental accounts and support the development and growth of CAT National Accounts. The focus for this position is on accounts, assigned by management, that have significant rental opportunity within company territory and accounts that transact in multiple dealer territories. The Key Account Manager will handle all rental needs for Rental Services and Heavy Rents and assist with rental requests for Power, Lift, Ag and Crushing divisions (Noted below as “Other Company Divisions”) per customer requests. The candidate must execute on the following objectives and expectations:

Wages

Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $150,000 - $200,000

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Sales Representative - Key Accounts Manager include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

• Achieve business plan objectives for rental, sales and growth targets for assigned key accounts.

• Foster relationship with local and national customers to increase rental market share (PPRO) within territory.

• Collaborate with marketing and other company divisions to develop plans to grow and penetrate new Key and National accounts.

• Partner with local rental reps and Heavy Rents on projects for strategic account customers working in their assigned territories.

•Engage Machine Sales Reps from other company divisions on New and Used CAT Sale leads and RPO’s, while partnering with the MSR’s to grow account relationships.

• Collaborate with Rental Asset Manager on fleet needs and opportunities.

• Work with CAT National account team to align with program KPI’s.

• Foster strategic relationship with Cat Dealers counterparts and allied partners.

• Effective and consistent use of company CRM (Cloud Link)

• Develop and coordinate training to meet strategic customer accounts requirements on:

• Safety

• Customer operations, requirements and policies

• Equipment training and certification

• Attend sales/management meetings, trade shows, and assigned training.

• Complies with company credit policies and assists with collections as requested.

• Expected to meet deadline on management requests, special assignment or projects.

• Ensures company provided vehicle is maintained to company image standards.

• Be available for customer requests outside of traditional business hours and days of the week.

• Ability to travel an extensively including required overnight stays. Ability to travel via airline to customer offices on occasion. 

• Proficient use Microsoft Suite applications, Dodge, Rouse Analytics, Integrated Rental, DBS and other computer applications as needed.  

• Models a safety first approach at all times. 

• Represents Quinn Rental Services in a professional manner that promotes the goals and values set forth by Quinn Company and the Caterpillar organization.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree from four-year university preferred and five plus years related rental experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
