In this role, you will develop customer relationships, promote Cat lift truck products, and drive sales growth in a designated territory. Wages

This position offers a base salary plus commission, with total compensation ranging from $80,000 to $125,000 annually.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Build Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with lift truck customers within your assigned territory.
  • Promote Cat Products: Organize events, promotions, and demonstrations to increase visibility and generate interest in Cat lift equipment.
  • Support Marketing Initiatives: Administer and promote Caterpillar marketing programs and incentives.
  • Manage Sales Documentation: Process paperwork for programs, pricing, incentives, and customer transactions.
  • Troubleshoot & Advise: Assist customers with business challenges, mechanical concerns, and product support needs.
  • Negotiate Effectively: Discuss product options, incentives, pricing, and service solutions to close deals.
  • Support After-Sales Needs: Help customers navigate service, warranty, or repair issues.
  • Assist With Credit Setup: Guide customers through establishing and maintaining credit accounts.
  • Government Sales (If Assigned): Monitor municipal and agency bid requests and ensure the company participates in government procurement opportunities.

 

 

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university
  • 2–3 years of related industry or sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and understand basic mechanical concepts
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
