In this high‑impact role, you will canvas your territory, visit job sites, generate rental and sales leads, and help customers access the equipment they need to keep their operations running smoothly.

Wages

This position offers a base salary plus commission, with total annual compensation ranging from $70,000 to $125,000.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Canvas Your Territory: Visit job sites and customer locations to generate rental leads and identify new opportunities.
  • Collect Customer Information: Engage contractors on site and obtain accurate contact information for follow‑up.
  • Document Interactions: Create reports for each customer touchpoint and enter them into the company system.
  • Coordinate With Leadership: Share qualified leads with Account Managers and the Rental Manager.
  • Manage Customer Lists: Maintain current call lists and rental agreement lists to ensure consistent follow‑up.
  • Tailor Contact Frequency: Set appropriate follow‑up intervals based on customer needs and volume.
  • Know Your Products: Maintain strong knowledge of Quinn equipment features, applications, and benefits.
  • Monitor Competitors: Stay informed on competitive rental rates, terms, and market activity.
  • Plan Efficiently: Organize your sales calls and activities to maximize daily productivity.
  • Support Fleet Utilization: Assist in achieving stated goals for rental fleet time, utilization, and financial performance.
  • Rent Profitably: Ensure rental contracts return appropriate gross profit.
  • Work Safely: Follow all safety policies and comply with company standards at all times.

 

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma required
  • Sales or rental background in construction and/or industrial equipment
  • Strong equipment and application knowledge
  • Proven track record in outside sales and customer development
  • Ability to understand equipment specs, pricing, and reference materials
  • Strong math skills for accurate sales calculations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence sales and rental transactions
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to changing environments
  • Valid California driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance
