In this territory‑based role, you will canvas job sites, generate rental and sales leads, maintain customer relationships, and support rental revenue growth.

Wages

Starting wage will depend on experience and education.
$70,000 – $125,000 (Base + Commission)

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Canvas Territory: Visit assigned areas to generate rental revenue and identify new opportunities.
  • Engage Job Sites: Contact contractors onsite and gather accurate customer information for follow‑up.
  • Document Interactions: Generate reports for each customer contact and enter data into company systems.
  • Communicate Leads: Share qualified information with the appropriate Account Manager and Rental Manager.
  • Maintain Customer Lists: Keep current call lists and rental agreement lists for effective follow‑up.
  • Know Your Customers: Determine call frequency based on customer needs, volume, and activity levels.
  • Know the Products: Maintain strong knowledge of Quinn equipment features and applications.
  • Track Competitors: Stay informed on competing rental rates, terms, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Plan Efficiently: Strategically schedule customer visits to maximize daily productivity.
  • Support Fleet Performance: Help meet goals for rental fleet time, utilization, and financial returns.
  • Rent Profitably: Ensure equipment is rented on a profitable basis, measured through gross profit.
  • Work Safely: Always follow safety policies and comply with company standards.

 

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma required
  • Sales or rental background in construction and/or industrial equipment
  • Strong equipment and application knowledge
  • Proven success in outside sales and customer development
  • Ability to understand equipment specs, pricing, and technical materials
  • Strong math skills for quick, accurate sales calculations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence sales and rental transactions
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable
  • Must maintain a valid California driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance and travel within the territory
