Wages

The Utility's starting wage will depend on experience and education. $16.90- $22.00

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

 

Position Summary

The Utility plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Cat Rental Store by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility while assisting customers, equipment movement, and basic equipment preparation.

Top Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rental yard, shop, and facility.
  • Assist customers and employees with loading and unloading rental equipment.
  • Check equipment in and out while verifying operating condition.
  • Clean rental equipment using wash racks, steam cleaners, and pressure washers.
  • Safely operate forklifts, material handling equipment, cranes, and company vehicles.
  • Transport materials and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Support technicians with basic equipment preparation and repair tasks.
  • Communicate new equipment arrivals and assist with equipment identification.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by answering questions and assisting customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and teamwork skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and forklift or equipment operating experience are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
