Service Manager 

 

The SITECH Service Manager will have responsibility for overseeing assigned branch, which includes the growth and development of assigned employees, and ensure the continued growth of the customer base and financial performance through the alignment of systems, people and process. This position works with support functions to ensure the timeliness of pricing, goodwill, warranty and technical communication and will have responsibility for shop supplies, tooling, cost control measures and building maintenance related to shop areas and any other applicable miscellaneous items associated with the local service area.

Wages

This position offers a total compensation package. Salary range $100,000 - $140,000

Responsibilities

Safety

  • Actively cares, promotes, manages, and advocates safety on SITECH Pacific projects. As a team member in the organization, it is critical to ensure all employees, vendors, and clients have a safe work environment while adhering to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintains clean/clutter free personal work areas to ensure safe environment for all employees.
  • Adhering to required personal protective equipment (PPE) as identified in safety policy.
  • Provides coaching to employees on how to complete work safely is also responsible for the safety of assigned team.

Staffing

  • Supervises employees. Performs annual performance review and determines compensation increases. Administers discipline; authority to hire and terminate employees.
  • Identifies and determines necessary hiring requirements to ensure revenue growth targets are met while sustaining efficiency and acceptable labor utilization within SITECH Service Department.
  • Develops and manages employee development plans to grow employee skill sets.
  • Defines employees’ expectations for task that need to be completed along with providing coaching along the way to ensure tasks are completed successfully.
  • Communicates organizational goals and expectation, provides resources and direction to ensure goals are met.
  • Builds a positive teamwork environment with assigned team members that encourages the success of other team members, clients, and organizational partners
  • Manages repair and service quality to ensure all repairs are completed with a high level of accuracy and with our workmanship defects.

Business

  • Manages annual budget in alignment with organizational goals and standards. Develops action plans to correct budget deficiencies when they arise.
  • Ensures warranty, service policy, and goodwill is addressed and processed within organizational guidelines.
  • Manages Service Calls in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Evaluates tooling needs as new products are introduced into the marketplace, purchases tooling needed to ensure repairs can be completed.
  • Manages client relationships and enables team members to provide exceptional client experiences that build client loyalty. This includes reviewing client surveys.
  • Develops and executes action plans to grow service revenue and to manage technician utilization with-in organizational standards.
  • Develops Knowledge of technology products and service offerings.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong computer skills and technology skills required. Must be able to utilize Microsoft office programs.
  • Strong critical thinker with the ability to communicate complex items simply.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicator with ability to communicate via email and phone.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
  • Ability to present to a group of people and teach complex topics.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Consistent attendance and timeliness.
  • Working within and promoting SITECH Pacific’s purpose, vision and values.

Qualifications

  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Associate's degree from an accredited vocational school preferred.
  • Five years’ experience in a heavy equipment and/or truck environment required.
  • Three years of supervisory experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
